Spicy Crunchy Tuna Tartare

Spicy-Tuna-Tar-Tar

I’ve been looking for the perfect Tuna Tartare recipe and I think I’ve found it! Check it out!

Ingredients:

8 oz sushi grade ahi tuna, finely chopped

2 tsps pure sesame oil

1 tsp rice wine

2 tsp fresh lime juice

2 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp Sriracha hot sauce (to taste)

2 tbsp chives, minced

2 tbsp panko crumbs

1 ripe, firm hass avocado, diced

1 tsp black and white sesame seeds

Directions:

Combine sesame oil, rice wine, lime juice, soy sauce and sriracha. Poor over tuna and mix. Add chives and gently combine tuna with diced avocado, refrigerate until ready to serve. Add panko crumbs just before serving and top with sesame seeds.

Kickin’ Some Bass

My boyfriend, Ben, and I took our new pup out on the john boat about about a week ago for a little afternoon bass fishing. The weather was perfect, the beer was cold and our little bloodhound, Dixie, was in heaven!

After re-rigging a few times when the spinnerbaits weren’t cutting the mustard, we ended up bringing in 12 bass using horny toads.

The day ended when the Miller Lite supply ran dry so we headed in before sunset. Dixie eventually eased into the speedy return home.
