Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation

The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, developed by renowned artist Guy Harvey, is an organization that educates current and future generations about ocean conservation and marine environment management.

With help from other Foundation-funded scientists, Guy is personally involved with ocean research and presents all research projects to the Scientific Advisory Board. He has been involved with educational programs at the University of Florida and established The Guy Harvey Research Institute at Nova Southeastern University in 1999.

In addition to his talent as a wildlife artist, Guy is a scientist, marine biologist, conservationist, diver and angler.

A new specialty license plate for the state of Florida has also been constructed to assist scientific efforts to conserve marine resources at the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. It features a blue marlin, Guy’s favorite game fish, and is titled, “Catch Me… Release Me.”
