The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will offer a free Kids’ Fishing Clinic this Saturday in Panacea, Fla. It will take place at Woolley Park from 9 a.m. until noon.
The clinic will provide education about environmental stewardship, fishing ethics, angling skills and safety for children between the ages of 4 and 16.
Organizers encourage children to bring their own fishing tackle but will provide the equipment and bait if needed. Upon completion of the clinic, a limited number of rods and reels will be given away to participants.
All participants must be accompanied by an adult, and advanced registration is not required.
