This week’s World Sailfish Championship expects to hit $2 million for charity

The 9th annual World Sailfish Championship in Key West, the world’s most high-profile fishing tournament, is set for April 12-16. This five-day event will award $1 million to anglers and expects to hit $2 million for charity.

Thousands are expected to attend including Miami Dolphins and Hall of fame coach Don Shula, along with other celebrities.

Anglers from all over the globe are heading down to the southernmost point to fish. New York, Alabama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Texas to just name a few.
